Literally had so much fun with this look. The white boots are one of the best investments I’ve ever made, since they go with just about anything. Coat and dress are both rented, in one of those situations where you find inspiration for a costume WHEN you go shopping, rather than the other way around. I was living in Atlanta at the time, and I knew of this popular mural photo spot hidden behind a Kroger supermarket in Buckhead. And the idea to be Kacey Musgraves for Halloween was born. (Again have to thank Amazon for having basically anything you could ever want, since this pink cowboy hat arrived just in time)

I’m normally not big on animal prints, but Kacey Musgraves calls for some sequins and crazy, over-the-top outfits (plus a lot of pink).
