I’m a big fan of fancy pants and well, anything fancy really. To start off I’ve picked some navy blue pants with red stars from M.i.h. Jeans, and silk white floral pants from Haute Hippie. I wanted to rent the navy blue pants so badly that I did, indeed, also rent this item a size too big – thankfully the wide-leg cut made this less noticeable. I loved the buttons up the front and the flare silhouette, straight from the seventies! The red accents made it easy to pair with my navy blue beret, red coat and leather boots as well, perfect for the NYC winter.

The silk white pants were a tad too long on me (hence the cutoff at the bottom of the photo), but again the wide-leg fit helped make this less noticeable too! Haute Hippie is one of my fav boho brands and the floral print on these pants were BEAUTIFUL. The silk material was also great for flow – the pants flapped breezily in the wind – and comfort in the hot summer heat (didn’t stick to my legs with sweat).
